loved it!

(Permanent Link)
The part a truly loved was the Richard stuff. I've been thinking Sh*! or get off the pot for the past couple of books anyway. I mean I love Richard I adore him I really do but you know what hating yourself isn't going to make it go away. And hating Anita isn't going to make you a human again. Stop acting like a five year old who got told no and move on accept your animal and be a grown up! I'll admit I was a tad put off with the last couple of books being all sex and none of the real anita books I loved in the beginning, but everyone tends to forget that Dolph hates vampires and shifters so we really couldn't do a lot with that any longer. I also like the fact that her credibility is being questioned by herself and outside sources because of her relationship with Jean-Claude. With Dolph questioning her about Richard I think that may play out in later books and then richard really will hate anita because of course it will be her fault from his point of view.

After Dolph's questioning, I'm wondering if Richard will be "outed" in an upcoming book. I think that might be what finally makes him realize that he can't change what he is and he's got to accept his beast.
